Plain & Simple Card using Hexagon Embossing Folder

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.

Today i have a very quick & easy card for you but i think it is simply beautiful! It could be used for lots of different occasions too.

I used the dynamic hexagon embossing folder, Lift me up stamp set, Blushing Bride Ink & Ribbon, Stitched shapes dies & thick whisper white card.

I hope you agree with me!

I just love the clean & simple look of this card. Pink & white always look so pretty together anyway.

My card base is made with thick whisper white & measures 5" x 8"  scored @ 4"

I then cut another piece of thick whisper white to 4 7/8" x 3 7/8" This was the piece i ran through the embossing folder.

I cut 3 of the smallest stitched shape squares in thick whisper white. I stamped my image onto them with Blushing bride Ink.

I hope you will give this card a try, maybe in a different colour.

Thank you for visiting and please come back tomorrow for my usual Wednesday tutorial.

Thank you

Two Tone Reverse Words Card With Heat Embossing

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog! I hope you have all had a great Weekend & also a fantastic Mothers Day!!
I hope you all got spoilt rotten :-)

Today i have a really pretty & sparkly card using the Reverse Words stamp set again. I loved the technique that i did on yesterdays card that i really wanted to do it again. All you need is some of the Daubers & Ink!

I hope you like it.

For this card i used Bermuda Bay Ink & Tempting Turquoise. My ribbon is Bermuda Bay & the Butterfly is cut from Silver Glimmer paper & is from the Butterfly Thinlit dies.

The little dots that i heat embossed are from Avant Garden stamp set. I used Silver embossing powder for that.

My card base was Whisper white & measured 4 1/4 x 11 3/4" scored @ 5 7/8"

I then used a layer of Tempting Turquoise measuring 4" x 5 3/4"

The last layer is Whisper white & measures 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

This is the layer i did my stamping & heat embossing on.

I hope you like my card Today & i will be back tomorrow with another!

Thank you

Today i have a fun fold card for you and i am really very pleased with how it turned out. I made one last week in one of my tutorials and it went down a storm! I thought it would be great if i could come up with something similar but different. I really hope you like it, i love it and think its great fun.

#6 Sale-A-Bration Week Tall Gift Box using Inside the Lines DSP

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to project number 6 of my SAB Week.

Today i have a very easy Gift Box that would be great to gift some Mothers Day treats!
I have used Inside the lines Designer Series Paper. This paper really is beautiful & if you love coloring in then you will love it!
You don't have to color it in though, it still looks beautiful as it is. I just colored part of mine in & that looks just as good.

I hope you like it.

To color my paper in i used the watercolor pencils & the blender pens. Even though i used Real red in the pencil, i thought it looked more orange to me. I decided to make my lid from Calypso Coral card.

I added some wink of stella to the Bee & also the insides of the flowers.

My sentiment was from the Make a medallion stamp set as was the little decoration in the corners of the square. That was stamped with Calypso coral.

DSP measures 9 1/2" x 9 1/2"

Score one side @ 2 1/4",  4 1/2",  6 3/4"  & 9"

Score the other side @ 7 1/2"

Card measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4"

Score all 4 sides @ 1 1/2" but move the card away from the edge of the score board first. Only a tiny amount though or your lid will be to big.

I hope you enjoyed today's project. Please pop by tomorrow for project number 7 which sadly is the last one in this series :-(

Thank you

To Punch my fancy border out on the flap, i used a Martha Stewart punch but you can use whatever you have or just leave the flap blank. You could maybe just round the corners.
