#5 Wedding Week Gorgeous Heat Embossed Vellum Luminary

Hi crafty peeps!!

Welcome to my blog & project number 5 of my Wedding Week.

Today's project is a beautiful vellum Luminary which is heat embossed with Gold embossing powder.

Its so easy to make and will look great on your guests tables. I hope you like it.

I love this and it looks beautiful when the lights are dimmed. Obviously this is only for a battery operated Tea Light.

You could make lots of these for very little cost and i really think your guests would love them.

I used Dragonfly Dreams & Awesomely Artistic stamp set for my stamping. I stamped the Dragonfly's with versamark and i heat embossed with Gold stampin emboss powder. I attached a piece of Rich razzleberry card to the top and bottom but i used a die from the Mini treat bag thinlits to get the little heart cut outs. They look so sweet.

I hope you have enjoyed my project for today. Please don't forget to check out my youtube tutorial for full instructions.

Thank you

#5 Water Colour Week, Beautiful Dragonfly Dreams Card

Hi Crafters!

Thank you for visiting my blog today & welcome to number 5 of my water colour week.

I said in yesterdays post that the card i made was my favorite up to now! well i think i may have changed my mind! I really am in love with today's. It turned out so much better than i thought it would.

I hope you love it just as much as i do.

You only need a few supplies to make this card and it really is more beautiful in real life! It has so much sparkle and i think whoever receives this card will love it just as much as me.

To make the card i used the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle, Water colour card, Silver Glimmer paper, Basic rhinestones, Versamark Ink, Blushing bride card & Ink & silver thread.

For the card in the left of the picture heat embossed the small Dragonfly with Copper powder and coloured it in with Tempting turquoise ink & clear wink of stella. The sentiment was also stamped in Tempting turquoise ink.

The only difference with the card on the right is that i heat embossed the Dragonfly with silver embossing powder & coloured it in with Bermuda Bay ink & clear wink of stella again. The sentiment was stamped in Bermuda Bay also.

I love this card & i really hope you try it too. I no you will love it.

#8 Spring & Summer Sunday Beautiful & simple water colour card

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog & number 8 of my Spring & Summer Sunday series,  on here & my YouTube channel.

My project for today is a very simple but beautiful water colour card. It is made using the Dragonfly Dreams bundle & also the brick wall embossing folder. I did a card very similar to this yesterday and i thought i would do a tutorial on how i created it.

I hope you like it.

I have also given you a sneaky peek of a new Sale-a-bration item that we have coming out on Tuesday 21st February!
It is a pack of 6 x 6" glimmer paper that comes in 3 colours. Mint Macaron which is the one i used for my Dragonfly and sentiment layer. The other 2 colours are Bermuda Bay & Sweet sugarplum. They really are stunning. You need to get your hands on these ASAP!

I really love this card and i hope you do to.

My card base was made with Soft Sky card measuring 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" & scored @ 5 7/8"

My embossed layer of water colour card measured 4" x 5 3/4"

I also used a piece of whisper white for the inside of the card measuring the same as the water colour piece.

Please watch my YouTube Tutorial for full instructions on how i made the card.

Beautiful Water colour card using brick wall embossing folder

Hi Everyone,

Happy Saturday!! I hope you are all well & have been enjoying my projects & tutorials this last week.

Today i have a very pretty card for you & it's not my normal style but i want to try new things! In all fairness i have only been crafting just over 1 year so there is still things that i probably haven't done. Plus my confidence is growing all the time & that allows me to experiment.

Anyway, enough chit chat lol i hope you like today's card.

I really love this card, its just so cheery and bright. I am so glad i had a play and came up with this. The only this is though, now i am totally addicted to water coloring lol. I have made loads of cards and it really is great fun.
I have also been making some cards with water coloring and heat embossing, the results are beautiful. Look out for that as i will be sharing it with you.

To make this card i used:

Calypso Coral card & Ink
Water colour paper
Daffodil Delight Ink
Bermuda Bay Ink & card
Silver embossing powder
Whisper white scraps
Brick wall embossing folder
Bermuda bay stitched ribbon
Enamel shapes
Dragonfly dreams bundle
Awesomely artistic stamp set
Layering circle framelits
Clear wink of stella
Black memento Ink

My card base was Calypso coral & measured 4" x 11 3.4"    Scored @ 5 7/8"

Water color card measuring 3 7/8" x 5 3/4"  This was embossed with the embossing folder after i had water colored it. The top was colored with Calypso coral and the bottom with daffodil delight.

I wrapped my ribbon around it before i stuck it to the card base. I tied a small bow and stuck down with a glue dot.

My Dragonfly and Bee were stamped in Black memento and the dragonfly was stamped again with Bermuda Bay Ink.

They were both cut out with the matching dies and i also added some wink of stella to make them sparkle.

To finish off i heat embossed my sentiment and added some enamel shapes in matching colours.

Hope you like it and will maybe have a go at making your own.

Pretty Peekaboo Peach Card with Dragonfly Dreams

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Blog on this fine Monday!!
Have you had any snow at the weekend?? We had a little bit but it was so cold. I hope that is the last of the snow for now.

Today i have a really pretty card made using a beautiful colour that i need to use more often! Peekaboo Peach. I love it. I teamed it with smoky slate and i think it looks lovely. I hope you agree.

I love the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle. I really hope they carry it over to the new catalogue in June.

For this card i used, Whisper white card, smoky slate card, Peekaboo peach card, Silver glimmer paper, Layering squares, Layering ovals, Silver embossing powder, In colour enamel shapes, Peekaboo peach Ink, Versamark, Smoky slate stitched ribbon & the Dragon fly Dreams Bundle.

I cut some whisper white to 4 1/2" x 11 3/4" & scored it @ 5 7/8"
I cut Peekaboo peach to 4 1/4" x 5 5/8"
A layer of whisper white to 4" x 5 3/8"

I stamped the dragonfly all over the whisper white and then i cut out the 2nd largest layering square from the middle. I cut the largest square in smoky slate and stuck that onto the peekaboo peach so it sat behind the whisper white.
I stamped the smoky late with matching ink.

My sentiment was heat embossed in silver powder. I layered a smoky slate scallop oval behind the white oval.

The big dragonfly was cut from silver glimmer paper.

I also layered some smoky slate and whisper white to the inside. I stamped the Bee in the corner using Peekabo peach.

I hope you like it xx

Dragonfly Dreams card & SNEAKY PEEK OF NEW SAB PRODUCTS!!

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Blog.
Today, i have a little sneak peek of some new products coming your way!
These are new products that will be available from 21st February for customers. However, if you sign up as a demonstrator before that time, you will be able to pre-order them like me!!

Ok, so its 3 new products. Today i am showing you 2 of them.
Glimmer paper that comes in a pack of 3 colours. The colour i have chosen today is Bermuda Bay.
Also a new stamp set called Reverse words.

They really are so pretty. I hope you like the card that i made with them.

I no the Bermuda Bay glimmer paper looks very dark on the photo. It is not that dark really, thats just the way the camera is picking it up.

I love the stamp set and i am sure you will to when you get your hands on it!

I used Smoky slate for my card base and layered a piece of whisper white onto that.
Before i stuck it down i stamped the dragon fly with Smoky slate ink and filled the wings in with Bermuda Bay Ink.

I then took the little dots from Avant garden stamp set and heat embossed them with silver powder.

I wrapped some Bermuda bay ribbon around the whisper white then attached to my card base.

My sentiment was stamped onto whisper white with Smoky slate Ink. I then cut out a scallop oval with the new glimmer paper and the large Dragonfly.

I hope you like it.

Please check out my blog on Saturday as i will have another sneaky peek of the other new stamp set for you!

Pretty heat embossed card using Dragonfly Dreams

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well and enjoying my projects so far this week.

Today i have a very pretty card for you using a beautiful new stamp set called dragonfly dreams.
I hope you like it.

I think the silver embossed Dragonfly's look so pretty and the Melon mambo card really sets them off.
The Dragonfly that is sitting on the sentiment is made from vellum. I also heat embossed that with silver embossing powder and cut it out with the matching framelits.

For the inside of the card i used whisper white. I punched the corners with the curvy corner trio punch (retired) and i stamped the dragonfly in melon mambo Ink.

I used the stitched shape framelits for the sentiment and i used the layering ovals to cut out a piece of silver foil, this sits behind the sentiment.
The sentiment was also stamped with melon mambo Ink.

Melon mambo card measuring 4 1/2" x 11 3/4"   scored @ 5 7/8"
Whisper white measuring 4" x 5 1/2"

#2 Spring/Summer Sunday Chipboard Magnetic Calendar using Dragonfly Dreams

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to number 2 of my Spring/Summer Sunday series. I hope you are enjoying them.

Today's project is a very pretty & useful calendar that you can keep on your fridge! Without noticing until today that i have done 3 calendar projects this week! I am sure you don't mind though.

The next 2 people who place an order with me will receive one of these and one of the double covered notepads from me!! My way of saying Thank you!!

This calendar is super strong & sturdy as it is made out of the chipboard you get with your 12 x 12" Stampin Up papers. I hope you like them.

These calendars went out to all the people who shopped with me in December. I made lots of different designs and some had ribbon attached so you can hang them on the wall.

I really am quite happy with how they turned out and they look very elegant too.

You only need a few supplies to make them and i found them very addictive!!

Both calendars are made from the beautiful Falling in Love DSP. The stamp sets i used were Dragonfly dreams & Beautiful You.

Chipboard measures 6 1/2" x 4 1/2"               OR         16.5 cm x 11.5 cm

DSP measures 6 1/2" x 8 1/2"                       OR            16.5 cm x 21.6 cm
Score all 4 sides @ 1"                      OR             2.5 cm
