Welcome to my blog for my usual Sunday tutorial.

Happy Saturday!! I hope you are all glad the Weekend is here.

Sometimes people just need a little inspiration of what to do with stamp sets. I really hope that i have helped you.

I also used one of the SAB stamp sets on this card which is Delicate Details. I love that stamp set.
Please check out my YouTube channel and blog next week as i have some sneaky peeks for you! It will be the new items that you can earn from Sale-A-Bration!! Trust me, they are beautiful!!

The hand stamped DSP down the front measures 2 1/2" x 4 7/8"

Very pretty card using my hand stamped designer series paper

Hi Everyone,

How fast has this week gone?? I can't believe it is Thursday already!! Nearly the Weekend again!

So, today my card is so pretty as i have used the handmade DSP i made last week. I have had a few of my followers asking me if i would make a card with it.

So here it is! Hope you like it as much as i do.

The stamp set that i used to create my background is Oh so succulent. It is available to purchase from the Spring/Summer catalogue.
It really is the perfect set to create your own DSP.
The sentiment i chose is from Paisleys & Posies stamp set.

Rich razzleberry card measuring 4" x 11 3/4"  scored on the long side @ 5 7/8"

2 pieces of very vanilla measuring 3 7/8" x 5 3/4"  one for the front of the card & the other for the inside.

The ink colours i used to stamp my DSP was Rich razzleberry, Pink pirouette & Garden green.

If you would like to see a tutorial on how i made the DSP please click HERE

I heat embossed my sentiment with gold powder. I cut out a layering scallop oval in Rich Razzleberry and a layering size down in very vanilla. This was what i stamped my sentiment onto.

I wrapped some Gold satin ribbon around the very vanilla and tied a separate bow which i attached with a glue dot. The pearl on the ribbon is just what i had in my stash.

To finish the card off i placed an enamel heart near the sentiment and i stamped a flower onto my other piece of very vanilla. This was glued to the inside of my card base.

Thank you for stopping by.

#3 Focus Friday how to create your own DSP using Oh so succulent

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to number 3 of my focus Friday series! I really hope you are enjoying this series.

You may remember a few weeks back, i made a book style gift box for a CD. It was made with some DSP that i stamped myself. I used Oh so succulent stamp set to create it.

Since that project i have had lots of people asking if i would do a tutorial on how i stamped it. Since today is focus Friday, i thought it would be the perfect chance to show you.

I no that new crafters or new stampers may think it looks hard or complicated. It really isn't & you can create your own beautiful papers.

I hope you like the paper i made today.

I really love Oh so succulent stamp set. It really is perfect for creating your own DSP.  I also love the way it has turned out, i think the colours i chose are so pretty.

The Ink pads in the photo are the ones i used to create the DSP. They are:
Wisteria Wonder
Garden Green
Pink Pirouette
Rich Razzleberry

This time i stamped onto an A4 piece of whisper white.

Please watch my Youtube tutorial for full instructions on how i created the paper.

Thank you

Creating my own hand stamped DSP with Oh so succulent

Hi everyone,

I am back again! I just wanted to share with you this beautiful DSP i created myself.
I am totally in love with it! It truly looks so beautiful. I shared it on Facebook the other day and it got a great response. I hope you like it.

I think you will agree that it looks beautiful.

I hand stamped the design onto a 12 x 12" piece of whisper white card. It took me about an hour to do it but i am going to try some more using different colours.

The colours i used for this were:

Sweet sugarplum
Wisteria wonder
Pear pizzazz
Elegant eggplant
Perfect plum

It looks so pretty that i might just frame it!
