Simple but beautiful wood words card

Hi everyone,

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.

Sorry, but i have been playing with Wood words again!! I have told you a thousand times how beautiful that stamp set it is too! lol. Sorry but it really is.

Today's card is so simple and quick to do but its so pretty. I am positive the recipient will also agree. Anyway, i hope you like it.

I only used 2 main colours for this card which were Smoky slate & Fresh fig. I think they look so nice together. I did use Powder Pink & Pear Pizzazz stampin write markers for the little flowers around the sentiment.

The sentiment is from a beautiful stamp set called Just add text. I stamped this onto whisper white and then cut it out with the largest stitched shape oval die.

I stamped the flower background onto my whisper white with smoky slate Ink. This was then glued to a Smoky slate card base.

DIMENSIONS

Smoky slate card measuring 4 1/4" x 11" scored in the middle @ 5 1/2"

Whisper white card measuring 4" x 5 1/4"

I tied some Fresh Fig ribbon around the whisper white and tied it into a knot  before sticking the whisper white to my card base.

All the products i used are listed below if you would like to purchase any of them

Thank you

 Bye for now

Plain & simple spritzed card

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for visiting my blog today.

I have been playing with my Stampin spritzers & some Ink! You can create some great effects using this technique. I hope you like the card that i came up with.

I wanted my card to be very plain & simple & hopefully i have achieved that.

The stamp set i used for this card was Sunshine Sayings. I fantastic set with loads & loads of great sentiments as well as a pretty flower.

I only used 3 colours for this card which were, Very vanilla, Pink pirouette & Basic grey. I love this combination of colours.

My very vanilla card front was scored in my diagonal score plate to create a criss cross effect.  I put some Blushing bride ink in my spritzer with some alcohol and sprayed my card about 2 times. I held the spritzer a good distance from the card.

I cut a scrap of Basic grey card and punched one end with the triple banner punch. This was glued behind my scallop square. The flower was stamped onto a stitched square with Basic grey Ink. Before i stamped the flower i used Pink pirouette Ink to stamp the brush mark.

I added 3 gold sequins to give the card some sparkle.

Thank you for stopping by and i will be back tomorrow.

Plain & Simple Card using Hexagon Embossing Folder

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.

Today i have a very quick & easy card for you but i think it is simply beautiful! It could be used for lots of different occasions too.

I used the dynamic hexagon embossing folder, Lift me up stamp set, Blushing Bride Ink & Ribbon, Stitched shapes dies & thick whisper white card.

I hope you agree with me!

I just love the clean & simple look of this card. Pink & white always look so pretty together anyway.

My card base is made with thick whisper white & measures 5" x 8"  scored @ 4"

I then cut another piece of thick whisper white to 4 7/8" x 3 7/8" This was the piece i ran through the embossing folder.

I cut 3 of the smallest stitched shape squares in thick whisper white. I stamped my image onto them with Blushing bride Ink.

I hope you will give this card a try, maybe in a different colour.

Thank you for visiting and please come back tomorrow for my usual Wednesday tutorial.

Thank you

 Bye for now
