Beautiful Baby Boy Card Using Memories & More

Hi my crafty friends,

Like i said in my blog post yesterday, i have been making another lovely baby card with Bundle of love card pack. This time i have a sweet Baby boy card.

These Memories & more card packs make it so quick & simple to make beautiful cards! These would be great for beginner crafters or people who do not have a lot of supplies.

Like the card yesterday, i have used some extra card for my base which was Pool party. I also used Pool party shimmer ribbon & the Curvy corner trio punch (retired).

I hope you like it.

I love the black with Pool party. A non traditional baby card i think.

The little vest sticker is so cute. They are not just normal stickers though. They are made of card and are fantastic! They don't look like stickers. All the embellishments are sticky so it saves you using glue etc.

I hope you like the cards i brought you the last couple of days. I never make baby cards and thought i really should!

Thank you for popping by & i will be back tomorrow with my usual Wednesday tutorial.

 Bye for now

Water Colour Card Using Touches Of Texture

Hi Everyone,

I am back today with a simple but beautiful card.

I love Touches of texture stamp set. You get loads of stamps with this set and you can really create fantastic looking cards in minutes. I hope you like the one i have today.

I used a card base of Basic grey measuring 4 1/8" x 11" scored @ 5 1/2"

My card front was water colour card and measured 4" x 5 3/8"

Using Blushing bride ink i applied some colour using a water colour brush.

Again using Blushing bride i stamped the large speckle stamp from Touches of texture. I also stamped off and applied that around the card front.

Using black memento Ink i stamped 2 of the flowers. I coloured them in with Stampin write markers in Rose red, Flirty Flamingo, Pear pizzazz and Daffodil delight.

The sentiment is from Garden in bloom and that was stamped in Rose Red. I added a few Rhinestones to finish.

I hope you like it.

Please pop by tomorrow as i have a fantastic tutorial for you!!

Thank you

Gorgeous Card Made Using Scraps Of DSP!

Hi Everyone,

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all having a great Weekend so far.

As you all know, the new catalogue goes live on June 1st. As that date is fast approaching i want to use up my retiring DSP & scraps.
A great way to do this is to make cards. You can make loads of them by using up scraps. I hope you like the one i have made today.

I love it!! The DSP is called So in love. This is one of my favorite paper stacks. The great thing is that you can still buy this stack on the retiring list & its reduced!! Hurry though as stock is low.

The stamp set i used is Layering Love. This one is carrying over to the new catalogue :-) I am really pleased about that as i love this stamp set.

Layering Love Stamp Set
Item No; 141965

To make the card i cut 6 pieces of DSP to 1/2" wide and just a length that i was happy with.
My card base is Whisper white & measures 4 1/8" x 11" Scored @ 5 1/2"

I glued my strips down first with Tombow glue. I stamped my sentiment onto Whisper white with Versamark ink. I heat embossed it with Gold Stampin emboss powder. I used a layering Oval to cut it out and i also cut out a larger scallop oval from Real red card.

Before i glued my sentiment onto the real red oval i wrapped some gold thread around the red oval. I made a 6 point pattern and used some snail to secure the thread.

I added a few basic rhinestones to finish.

I hope you like it. Please pop back tomorrow for another tutorial.

Thank you

I love this new suite! It is absolutely stunning and once you get your hands on it, i am sure you will agree! I hope you like my card.

This is a really quick and simple little card. I have used one of the new In colours which is Tranquil Tide. The card is also Tranquil Tide. What a beautiful colour too.

The DSP is also new which comes with the bundle available on 1st May.

My card base is made with Thick very vanilla and is cut @ 4" x 10" & scored @ 5"

The Tranquil Tide is cute @ 3 3/4" x 4 3/4"

I used gold embossing powder for my sentiment.
